Gorilla Awareness Launch in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Community Conservation first in Madikwe North West province

ERP and Barrus Investments are currently expanding the Madikwe park in North West province to include land once restituted around the beautiful Molatedi Dam. This is a Blog of community related Events attended by Landrover Guests organized by the Kingsley Holgate Foundation who support Saving and improving Lives through Adventure. Other partners are Jaci's Safari and Lodges who take all the Youth Winners to see animals in the Wild-something that the project sees as Vital to its success. Uni-Span Formework and Scaffolding supplied the Mobile Vehicle on two separate occasions to reach this secluded part of Africa. North West Parks are Custodians of the programme and supported with Community people and parks Teams. Project Rhino, Savings the Survivors and Rhino Art were part of the Vital project management Team

Ubhejane X Mountain Bike Challenge

The 2016 Rhino ride was branded as the Ubhejane Xtreme. This is a collection of media and people behind the scenes that helped on th Gruelling 340km MTB Extreme ride for Rhino in December which ended in Hhuhluwe Game Reserve. The Ride happens annually and is hosted by Cadence Cycling and Project Rhino KZN. It has no winners and is time restricted to 17 hours over the distance. Some Riders can choose the 240km version departing from Umvoti toll plaza or the Celebrity Ride from the Bronze Rhino at Centenary Centre to the Top of the Park which is Hilltop Camp. The Ride is arguably one of the Toughest Rides in World off Road events held in summer heat, partly in a Big 5 reserve and with a time restriction.
